Atelier commissions are reserved for Zahra’s most complex designs — compositions involving extensive miniature detail, highly intricate painting, layered elements or techniques that require significantly more time to execute. Any design featuring a portrait will automatically fall within the Atelier Commission.

The Signature Commission
£500 GBP
For bespoke hand-painted work with a more considered level of detail.
Signature commissions are individually designed and painted by Zahra, while keeping the composition and level of intricacy more restrained than an Atelier piece. Ideal for clients wanting a completely bespoke ZHR set without the highly time-intensive detail of an Atelier commission.

Which commission is right for me?
The commission tier is determined by the level of detail, complexity and time required to create your design. Zahra will advise if your requested design falls within the Atelier tier. All portrait commissions are Atelier commissions.
The making of a ZHR piece
Consultation
Your vision, references and personal ideas are carefully explored to define the artistic direction of the piece. Every commission begins with a thoughtful understanding of your story, aesthetic and the details you want the design to hold.
Concept
An entirely original design is developed through visual research, composition and storytelling. Each element is intentionally placed, refined and translated into a cohesive set created exclusively for you.
Craft
Every detail is painted entirely by hand using fine brushes and specialist techniques. Created slowly and precisely, each nail becomes a miniature work of art designed to be worn, kept and treasured.
